I watched a new Filemaker user get swpemad by suggestions on a list as to how to make a report for property conditions. I realized the entire project centered around producing a report and not one person addressed that issue instead proposing related fields, calculations, etc. I thought about it and came up with this: and the folowup:Rather interesting to see how FIlemaker's old fashioned report methods work best with non-normalized data! Filemaker does not build a report via script which is what would help in your situation while 4th Dimension and other dbs can.
